A listing of all common error codes encountered in Jade Empire: Special Edtion as well as troubleshooting steps.

1.01: "Product Not Owned by Account - The product you are trying to install is not owned by the BioWare Community account you used to login." (Back to Top)
During the installation process users are required to enter the BioWare Community account username they purchased the game with. If you have purchased the game and are recieving this message please check the username on your BioWare Store reciept. If you have not yet purchased the game please visit the BioWare Store to do so.
1.02: "Account Denied Access - This user does not have access to install this product at this time. Please try again in fifteen minutes and try again. If you are still not able to access your account please contact support." (Back to Top)
A user will recieve this error message if their account has been temporarilly disabled. An account will be temporarally disabled after multiple incorrect login attempts. Please wait fifteen minutes and try again. If you are still unable to access your account please contact support with your account name and a description of the error.
1.03: "Installer Doesn't Meet Minimum Version - Download a new version of the installer from your BioWare Store Downloads page. (Back to Top)
A user will receive this error message if the game installer version they are attempting to run is not the latest version available. In this case please download the latest version of the installer from your BioWare Store Downloads page.
1.04: "Install Limit Hit - This product has been already been installed the maximum number of installations allowed. (Back to Top)
A full version digital game can be installed on a limited number of hardware configurations. If you have exceeded this limit please contact support with your account name and the reason the limit was exceeded.
1.05: "Unknown Error - Please retry your download/installation. If you receive this error a second time please contact customer support." (Back to Top)
Something unexpected happened during the download and installation process. Please re-try your download or installation and if you receive this error message a second time contact customer support.
1.06: "Request Timeout“ We were unable to communicate properly with the server, please try again and if the issue occurs contact support." (Back to Top)
The installer is not able to communicate with the required server. This could be indicative of an unstable or intermittent internet connection. Please check your internet connection and if the issue persists contact customer support.
1.07: Receive error message "XINPUT9_1_0.DLL" on launching the game. (Back to Top)
DirectX issue. Download and install the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft.
1.08: Jade Empire Configuration Utility states that the incorrect monitor drivers are installed. (Back to Top)
Download and install latest drivers for your monitor or switch monitor driver to "PNP Monitor" from "Default Monitor".
