1.01: Can I return a purchased module? (Back to Top)
At its discretion, BioWare shall provide refunds for unused digital products purchased at The Store. This policy does not extend to gift certificates for digital products.
Except as specifically provided in the license, BioWare Corp. does not accept refunds or returns on used digital products purchased at The Store in whole or in part for any reason including, without limitation, interruption or unavailability of any or all of BioWare’s Internet Services.
You are liable for all charges posted to your credit card account. As the customer you must:
a) Ensure that you meet the software requirements for Digital Products licensed from The Store including but not limited to owning any related products etc.
b) Ensure that you meet the computer requirements for Digital Products including but not limited to video cards, drivers, operating systems etc.
c) Ensure that you have access to an active Internet connection if required by the product.
1.02: Do I need a BioWare Community Account to make a purchase from the store? (Back to Top)
Yes, you need to have a BioWare Community Account to make a purchase from the store. If you do not have an account, you may create one during the checkout process.
1.03: Will I receive an order or purchase confirmation? (Back to Top)
An invoice will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided with your account. You will have the opportunity to print out the invoice at the end of the transaction. We store all invoices with your account information so you can access them online at a later date.
1.04: Can I preorder modules? (Back to Top)
This is not a service we are offering at this time.
1.05: What payment options does the BioWare Online Store offer? (Back to Top)
We accept only Visa and MasterCard transactions only.
Regarding Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards:
The BioWare Store will accept most Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards that have been issued by a financial institution, but bear no special branding. Thusly, we cannot accept Mastercard Maestro debit cards which are a specific “brand” of debit card. However, due to changes in the way Visa processes their debit card transactions we are able to accept Visa Electron cards. If your debit card is declined, it is likely that we cannot accept it.
1.06: Where is the ESRB rating of the modules? (Back to Top)
The ESRB rating for the Neverwinter Nights series is "T - for Teens". Currently BioWare's premium Neverwinter Nights modules are unrated. For more information on ESRB ratings: http://www.esrb.com/
1.07: Why did my credit card get declined? What should I do now? (Back to Top)
We are not able to provide specific reasons for why a purchase transaction was declined. Some possible causes for being declined we suggest you investigate would be insufficient funds and an error in the verification of your personal information. We do positive address verification on your credit card information to help protect your purchase transaction; if an error was made in entering the address your transaction may be declined. There may also have been a problem contacting your card issuer. Please contact your card issuer for more information.
1.08: How do I know if I can run a module on my computer? (Back to Top)
Each module has different requirements. These requirements will be clearly posted on both the product page for a module and made clear at the time of purchase. All modules have the requirement of a registered CD Key from Neverwinter Nights and a live Internet connection. Regarding performance; If your machine can play the Hordes of the Underdark expansion then it should be able to play the premium modules as well.

1.09: Are BioWare premium modules available for Linux and Macintosh operating systems? (Back to Top)
As of the 1.65 patch, Linux gamers can enjoy the same great gameplay as their Windows counterparts. Official Mac O/S versions of the modules have unfortunately been delayed indefinitely. We are still dedicated to the needs of our different Neverwinter Nights communities and are working diligently to continue to address their needs.
1.10: What Neverwinter Nights products do I need to run these modules? (Back to Top)
Each module has its own specific requirements which are clearly described on each module's information page. It is important to note however your purchase of a module will only be processed if you have registered the CD Key from a retail copy of Neverwinter Nights.
1.11: Do I need the Community Expansion Pack (CEP) to run the modules? (Back to Top)
No, the CEP is not required to run the premium modules.
1.12: Can I save my shopping cart and come back to it later? (Back to Top)
Yes, if you are logged in while shopping we will save your cart if you logout. If you then log back in you will be able to resume your shopping. Please note that any time you log into your account and you have items in your shopping cart this new list of items will replace what you have saved.
1.13: I have not received my order confirmation email, how do I get it sent again? (Back to Top)
You can login to your account at the BioWare community to view or print your invoices as follows:
1. Login to your BioWare Community account.
2. Click “Edit Account” then “My Account”.
3. Under “BioWare Store” click “My Purchases and receipts”
4. A listing of your receipts will appear. To view a specific receipt click “View Receipt”.
1.14: I have a slow Internet connection, can I get the modules I buy sent to me on CD? (Back to Top)
This is not a service we are offering at this time.
1.15: Does BioWare store my credit card information after I make a purchase? (Back to Top)
No, BioWare does not store credit card information which may be used to make a purchase after you have made your purchase. We do record your transaction information and an order number. The credit card information we collect is sent to our payment authorizer and they will store your information as they require.
1.16: How do I make a purchase from the BioWare Online Store? (Back to Top)
1. Log into the BioWare Community site using your username and password.
2. To view available BioWare premium modules, click on the Neverwinter Modules button located at the top left of the screen.
3. You will be taken to the Product Listing page, which will display all premium modules that are currently being offered.
4. For more information on a specific module, click on the modules name.
5. Once you have chosen a module to purchase click Add to Cart or Buy as gift.
6. A small window named Shopping Cart will popup informing you that the module or Gift Code has been added to your cart.
7. When you purchase a module it is important to ensure that you meet the requirements. If you are unsure of what the requirements are for a BioWare premium module please check them by clicking the meet the requirements link.
8. If you wish to make additional purchases click the Continue Shopping link and repeat the purchase process for either an additional BioWare premium module or Gift Code.
9. If you want to conclude your shopping trip, click the Proceed to Secure Checkout button.
10. After pressing Proceed to Secure Checkout, you will then be taken to the Login page.
11. The email Community Name you’re currently logged in with will be displayed as well as the email address associated with the account. Please ensure that your email address is current as this is where you will receive your purchase receipt.
12. If you need to make changes to the information registered under your community account or register a Neverwinter Nights CD-Key, click the Edit Account link and you will be taken to the Edit Account Details page.
13. Once you are satisfied that all account information is current and correct click the Continue to Billing button.
14. If you do not have a valid Neverwinter Nights CD-Key registered under your currently logged in account you will have the opportunity to enter one on the Requirements page. If you wish to be able to retrieve your CD-Key from the BioWare Community Site ensure that you check the box next to Register this key and allow me to retrieve it.
15. If you do not have a Neverwinter Nights CD-Key you can convert your premium module to a Gift Code at this time.

What is a Gift Code and how do I use it?
16. Take note of the Requirements to Play at the bottom of this page. All BioWare Premium Modules require a live Internet connection while playing and a registered Neverwinter Nights CD-Key.
17. Below Requirements to Play you will see the message “You must fill in all of the requirements before continuing.” This will be replaced by the message “You meet all of the requirements.” when your CD-Key is properly registered.
18. When you have finished registering any CD-Keys required to play the module and have made your self familiar with any other requirements click the Proceed to Address link in the lower right hand corner of the page to continue the check out process.
19. On the Address page you will need to enter any required billing information from your credit card.
20. If you would like the BioWare Online Store to remember your address, ensure that you check the proper radio button at the bottom of the page.
21. Once you are satisfied with the information you have entered click the Continue to Payment button.
22. On the Payment page you will see your Billing Information, shopping cart contents, and any applicable taxes.
23. You will have the opportunity to edit the shopping cart contents before final payment processing. You can do this by clicking the Edit shopping cart link.
24. If you are satisfied with the cart contents and all information you have entered up to this point, enter your payment details where requested.
25. Note that by using the Back button or by clicking on the top navigation bar, you can return to a previous screen.
26. Once you have entered your payment details click the Complete Purchase button.
27. Also note that the I.P. address of your computer will be recorded with this transaction for fraud prevention and security purposes.
28. The Receipt page lists your receipt number below the word Receipt, message stating the purchase has been approved, and the email address a copy of your receipt was sent to.
29. There are also download and installation instructions available that contain detailed instructions on how to get your new BioWare Premium module installed.
30. It is important to note that the CD-Key a purchased module is associated with will be listed on your store receipt (not on the one sent via email). If you ever need to check which CD-Key a module is associated with you can view your receipts using the instructions here.
31. Notice there is also a Download Now button below the module and CD-Key information, clicking this button will begin the download process for its corresponding module
1.17: How do I view a receipt for a purchase made at the BioWare Store? (Back to Top)
You can login to your account at the BioWare community to view or print your invoices as follows:
1. Login to your BioWare Community account.
2. Click “Edit Account” then “My Account”.
3. Under “BioWare Store” click “My Purchases and receipts”
4. A listing of your receipts will appear. To view a specific receipt click “View Receipt”.
1.18: Is there a free trial or demo for BioWare's premium Neverwinter Nights modules? (Back to Top)
At this time there are no free trials of any premium Neverwinter Nights modules. However, each module has a demo section with additional information.
