Please select a question:
1.01: What is a Gift Code and how do I use it? (Back to Top)
A Gift Code is similar to a gift certificate. There are two uses for a Gift Code; the first is when you wish to buy a premium Neverwinter Nights module for a friend. You will be able to buy a Gift Code instead of the module. Simply give the code to your friend and they can go to the BioWare Online Store, enter the Gift Code, and will then be able to download the module you have purchased for them. The second use of the Gift Code is to allow you to purchase a module at the BioWare Online Store right now even if you do not have the CD Key for Neverwinter Nights registered with your BioWare Community Account. When you have entered the CD Key for Neverwinter Nights you can return to the BioWare store, enter the Gift Code, and will then be able to download the module you have purchased.
1.02: Gift Certificates for Physical Products (Back to Top)
At this time the BioWare Online Store does not offer a gift certificate program. The possibility of offering gift certificates is currently being evaluated and an announcement will be made, with full details, once such a program is in place.
1.03: Will I be able to play a downloadable PC game if I purchased it using a gift code before the international release date? (Back to Top)
BioWare will not break the international street date for new products. As gift codes can be purchased and then redeemed anywhere in the world it is not possible for BioWare to control geographically where a gift code is redeemed. As a result all downloadable PC games purchased with gift codes will not be playable until the international release of the title.
