How to Buy a Gift Code, Step-By-Step

During the purchase process you will have the opportunity to buy a Gift Code for one or more premium Neverwinter Nights modules. Gift Codes are useful if you do not have your Neverwinter Nights CD key available for registration at the time you wish to make a purchase, or if you're buying the module for a friend.

It is very easy to buy a gift at the BioWare Online Store. All of our digital products can be bought as Gift Codes. A Gift Code is similar to a gift certificate. Simply give the code to your friend and they can go to the BioWare Online Store, enter the Gift Code, and will then be able to download the module you have bought for them.

How To Buy a Gift Code

1. Log into the BioWare Community site using your username and password. (Enter your Name and Password, and then press the Login button)
2. To view available premium Neverwinter Nights modules, click on the Neverwinter Modules button located at the top left of the screen.
3. You will be taken to the Product Listing page, which will display all premium modules that are currently being offered.
4. For more information on a specific module, click on the module's name.
5. Once you have chosen a module to buy click Buy as gift.
6. A small window named Shopping Cart will popup informing you that the Gift Code has been added to your cart.
7. If you wish to make additional purchases, click the Continue Shopping link and repeat the purchase process for either an additional premium Neverwinter Nights module or Gift Code. Notice that you can change the number of Gift Codes in your shopping cart by clicking on the '-' sign to subtract Gift Codes or the '+' sign to add additional Gift Codes.
8. If you want to conclude your shopping trip, click the Proceed to Secure Checkout button.
9. After pressing Proceed to Secure Checkout, you will then be taken to the Shopping Cart page where you will be able to review the details of your purchase.
10. When satisfied with your cart contents, click Proceed to Secure Checkout.
11. You will then be taken to the Login page if you are not already logged in. If you do not have a Community Account, you will be taken to a page that will allow you to sign up in a few easy steps.
12. The Community Name you're currently logged in with will be displayed as well as the e-mail address associated with the account. Please ensure that your e-mail address is current as this is where you will receive your official receipt from the BioWare Online Store.
13. If you need to make changes to the information registered under your Community Account or register a Neverwinter Nights CD Key, click the Edit Account link and you will be taken to the Edit Account Details page. Note: you do not need a Neverwinter Nights CD Key to purchase a Gift Code.
14. Once you are satisfied that all account information is current and correct, click the Continue to Requirements button.
15. Take note of the Requirements to Play at the bottom of this page. All BioWare premium modules require an Internet connection and a registered Neverwinter Nights CD Key. While you do not need a CD Key to buy a Gift Code, the Gift Code's recipient will need to meet these requirements to play the module once the Gift Code is redeemed.
16. Below Requirements to Play you will see the message "You must fill in all of the requirements before continuing." This will be replaced by the message "You meet all of the requirements" when you have created or logged into your Community Account.
17. Click the Proceed to Address link in the lower right-hand corner of the page to continue the check out process.
18. On the Address page you will need to enter your billing information.
19. If you would like the BioWare Online Store to remember your address, ensure that you check the radio button at the bottom of the page.
20. Once you are satisfied with the information you have entered click the Continue to Payment button.
21. On the Payment page you will see your Billing Information, shopping cart contents, and any applicable taxes.
22. You will have the opportunity to edit the shopping cart contents before final payment processing. You can do this by clicking the Edit shopping cart link.
23. If you are satisfied with the cart contents and all information you have entered up to this point, enter your payment details where requested.
24. Note that by using the Back button or by clicking on the top navigation bar, you can return to a previous screen.
25. Once you have entered your payment details click the Complete Purchase button.
26. Also note that the IP address of your computer will be recorded with this transaction for fraud prevention and security purposes.
27. The Receipt page lists your receipt number at the top, a message stating the purchase has been approved, and the e-mail address a copy of your receipt was sent to.
28. Your friend will receive an e-mail that contains the Gift Code you have purchased along with detailed instructions on how to redeem the Gift Code for a premium Neverwinter Nights module.
29. It is important to note that your friend must use the CD Key from the copy Neverwinter Nights he wishes to use to play the modules once the Gift Code is redeemed. Once again, detailed instructions are included in the e-mail your friend is sent to help ensure he is able to process the Gift Code properly.
